Yes, even Judges have been fooled by him.
Stopa is extremely persuasive and seems to have a strong hypnotic power over weak-willed people which is just inexplicable. It’s as if he is some type of Sith Lord placing spells on those he wishes to control and coerce into doing his bidding.
Childhood friends say the lies began when he was a young special needs student. Additionally, they say the lies progressed through high school. They say the years of family abuse and constant rejection led Stopa into very dark dances with the devil.
Former college friends admit they engaged in some pretty weird Crowley sex magic occult shit while at Wake Forest. Stopa was mesmerized by it all. As a result, they questioned whether he made the ultimate deal and sold his soul.
Mark Stopa Lies to the Florida Bar
The Florida Bar found Stopa to have severe mental impairment during his disbarment proceedings. Judge Allen even stated that Stopa suffered from several mental issues. These issues included narcissism, defensiveness, poor judgment, anger management issues. In addition Judge Allen stated Stopa has an uncanny inability to tell the truth nor does he have any lack of self-insight. She also added he suffers from paranoia and lack of impulse control.
In short, they determined that Mark Stopa is a crazy, angry, lying, schizoaffective sociopath.
Are these not the same symptoms of one possessed by otherworldly dark entities?
The Florida Bar ultimately disbarred Stopa and recommended he receive mental health treatment – specifically anger management and impulse control therapy.
The biggest point of contention in the trial was the fact that Stopa lied about the matters described in Dossier 1.0. Despite rock-solid public record proof of Mark Stopa’s crimes, together with an FDLE investigation and sworn testimony from former clients, Mark Stopa LIED to the Florida Bar calling the allegations “baseless”.
He maintained he did nothing wrong by stealing hundreds of homes from his own clients over the years – all so he could pocket the rents and skim the equity for himself.
Instead, Stopa tried to deflect his own crimes. Stopa fabricated a fantastical story of how the big bad banks hired private investigators. These investigators then wrote a false dossier in order to “take him out” because he was “winning too much”.

The subject matter in Dossier 1.0 was a matter of public record and indisputable. Stopa was very sloppy in his fraud. He left left multiple and very visible digital public record tracks that prove his crimes. All the evidence is recorded in the public records. Everyone can see it for themselves and learn the truth about him.
But despite this, Stopa LIED and fabricated the big bad bank private investigator story anyway. The truth is Dossier 1.0 was not written by the big banks and Mark Stopa knows this to be true. Stopa just LIES about it and twists the facts to fit his false narrative. What’s his narrative? Stopa claims he is the “good guy” who is being unfairly persecuted by big evil banks.
He later wrote a book titled “People v Money” where he stated all the Judges were incompetent and taking kickbacks from corporations. He even delved deeper into this grand conspiracy by banks to take him down. The entire book is all lies. All a very sad fabrication from a seriously mentally ill man was busted for ripping off his clients.
The Amazon book flopped because no one purchased it. Now it’s relegated to only being purchased as an eBook. His attempt to start a “People v Money” movement on YouTube fizzled with only 55 subscribers. Stupid pet tricks get more views and subscribers than Stopa has.
In short – Stopa’s book was one BIG LIE, and the people knew it.
Stopa tried to position himself as a white messiah fighting for “The People.” Yet. “the people” spoke. They soundly rejected Stopa by laughing at him as nothing more than a fraud and a thief. But, Stopa is used to rejection. He has been rejected his entire life.
Mark Stopa LIES on Social Media
Even now, Stopa continues to live a delusional lie. On his Twitter profile, he fancies himself as some sort of self-proclaimed investing expert, and refers to himself as an “international best-selling author”.
The truth is he is NOT a best-selling author and he is NOT an investing expert. It is all LIES. All a delusion fabricated by the mind of a madman.
But as Nazi Joseph Goebbels said – “if you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it.” and this has been Stopa’s life long strategy with everything.
Keep the facts vague and nebulous, lie and manipulate the situation as you see fit. Repeat the lies enough times and weak-willed fools will ultimately believe it to be true so you can create your own reality.

Mark Stopa LIES to His Children
Let’s call Mark Stopa what he is. He’s a pathological liar and conman. Stopa also lies to his own children. He exploited them as mere “stage props” on social media to cast himself as the perfect loving family man. Why? He did it to lure in more client victims for his law practice.
He would take photo ops of his young kids placing Stopa Law Firm signs around town. Stopa also used his own children as marketing props on family vacations. He wanted to make sure he got good photo footage of him being the perfect smiling father in exotic places. He also posted the pictures as marketing ploys all over Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in order to attract new client victims.
It seems Stopa was desperate to create the false appearance of true love and happiness that has always eluded him in his real life.
In 2014, Stopa used his own 8-year-old son Markus to fabricate a false story in order to promote his law practice and attract new client victims. As Stopa tells the fake story, he says that his son randomly asked him one day…

The truth is by 2014, the Stopa-Federico Crime Family was in full gear and by that time Stopa had stolen hundreds of homes from his own clients. The fraud and corruption was so bad, the guilt was beginning to affect even his cold-stone Grinch heart.
Rumors were beginning to swirl and complaints about his fraud were pouring into the Florida Bar. Stopa was desperate to divert attention and change the media narrative so he used his son and concocted the free house giveaway contest.
He shamelessly self-promoted himself by inviting the media to film him giving away $100 bills to homeless drug addicts and interview him where he regurgitated the fabricated free house story in faked eye-watering emotional interviews with reporters.

Stopa is so delusional and so out of touch with reality, he actually thought everyone would believe these staged false marketing flags emanated organically from his own kindness.

Former friends say Stopa is a loner and has no real friends. He is extremely paranoid and difficult to be around, which pushes people away.
Stopa prefers to live in his own delusional world of fantasy football where he can be whatever he LIES himself to be. Where he can just LIE and proclaim himself to be an expert and international bestseller even though his amazon sales flopped and his attempt at creating a “People v Money Movement” fizzled out with only 55 subscribers.
Mark Stopa LIED About His Law Practice
For years Stopa bragged about having over 7,000 law clients. Which is a BIG LIE. The Stopa Law Firm client list filed in the Federal bankruptcy court under penalty of perjury reveals less than 3,500 actual clients.
Stopa just conveniently LIED and DOUBLED his number of clients to “over 7,000” in order to create the appearance of having more success than he actually had.
Stopa was also famous for saying he had “over 2,000 foreclosure dismissals” throughout his career. This is yet another BIG LIE. 2,000 dismissals across 3,500 clients would be a 57% dismissal rate – which legal experts say is statistically impossible.
The truth is Stopa had fewer than 200 dismissals that can be documented in the public records. It appears he conveniently added an extra zero to that number and LIED about his success as a deceptive business practice marketing ploy to attract more clients (victims).
Mark Stopa LIED to His Clients
Stopa was famously known for NEVER TALKING to his own clients. He always had office proxies and paralegals do the talking (lying) for him. A former intake manager said Stopa encouraged him to promise to get his potential clients a free house in order to get the client to sign and pay the money.
Stopa was also famous for NEVER doing loan modifications. A former paralegal reports that Stopa’s financial model for the firm was to get clients on a monthly subscription and keep them paying as long as possible to create a solid monthly cash flow.
Getting a dismissal on a case was not to help his client save their home. A dismissal was a way for Stopa to collect additional lump sum attorney fees from the bank and fool his client into believing they were winning in order to keep them paying.
What you never hear Stopa talk about is on every single case dismissal – the bank eventually came back with a new filing where his client ultimately lost their home to foreclosure.
This was the financial model of the firm and anything that jeopardized this that would help clients actually save their homes and get out of foreclosure – like doing a Loan modification – was not allowed.
Mark Stopa LIED About LOAN MODS
The standing orders in Stopa Law Firm were NO LOAN MODS.
A former paralegal said banks were handing out loan mods like Free candy. Over the years, they literally received THOUSANDS of pre-approved loan modification offers from banks that were covered up by Mark Stopa himself and never presented to his clients. All because he didn’t want to resolve the client case and have the cash flow stop.
Many of the bank offers were incredible deals and would have helped thousands of Stopa’s clients actually SAVE their homes from foreclosure. But Stopa wasn’t interested in helping his clients. He was only interested in helping himself get rich. Since a loan modification would RESOLVE the case and STOP the client cashflow, Stopa would NOT ALLOW the firm to do loan modifications.
Clients were NEVER informed their bank was offering a way for them to save their home.
The end result was thousands of Mark Stopa clients were needlessly evicted from their homes after foreclosure.
The real truth is by covering up Loan Mods – Mark Stopa caused more clients to LOSE their home to foreclosure than any other attorney in Florida.
Stopa’s clients could have actually saved their homes if he simply told them the truth and didn’t LIE to unjustly enrich himself.
When his clients got tired of paying to defend the foreclosure, Stopa would LIE and pull them into his own rent equity skimming scam.
Stopa would LIE and tell his clients that he had an “investor” that would pay them money for the deed to their home. Only Stopa lied and never disclosed that this mystery investor was HIM. He used New Mexico LLCs to conceal his identity.
When he had a client that wanted out, Stopa would fabricate a large legal bill in order to avoid having to pay any money for the Deed. Instead, he would lie to his own client and tell them that the money the “investor” was paying would be retained by Stopa to cover his outstanding legal fees. In this way, Stopa would STEAL his clients home for nothing.
Mark Stopa LIES to His Wife Adrienne Federico
Building up the Stopa-Federico Crime Family hasn’t been easy. All the fraud and corruption caused a great deal of stress in his marriage to Adrienne Federico over the years.
Those early years were plagued by Stopa’s philandering and constant money troubles. Adrienne filed for divorce in Pinellas county in 2007 (Case 07-9814-FD) and again in Manatee County in 2010 (Case 2010DR-3791) before fleeing to Duval county with the kids to be closer to her old flame Phil Garfinkle who was already rich and could better support the children.
Stopa then filed a lawsuit in Manatee county against his own wife in 2013 (Case 2013DR-5332) seeking to have a family court judge force her to return with the kids.

Stopa Entices His Wife With A Multi-Million Dollar Home
As a way to entice his wife and kids to come back to him, in 2013 Stopa purchased the infamous Jayne Carusso foreclosure home at 7351 Sawgrass Point Dr., Pinellas Park for them to live in. As related in the Tampa Bay Times article, Jayne Carusso didn’t even know who Mark Stopa was and she most certainly NEVER hired him to represent her in foreclosure.
Yet Stopa filed a fraud-on-the-court notice of appearance to defend Bank of America v Jayne Carusso, Pinellas foreclosure Case No 09-17063-CI AFTER she LOST her home in an HOA auction where HE WAS THE BUYER. (Bayou Club Community v Jayne Carusso, 12-9100-CI).
Ask yourself WHY would Jayne Carusso need to hire Mark Stopa to defend a home she just lost to an HOA foreclosure if HE was the new owner? Stopa then later SUED “his client” JAYNE CARUSSO in a Quiet Title scam, Pinellas Case No 15-723-CI, seeking to eliminate the Bank of America mortgage on the home to win a FREE HOUSE.
It was all one big Quiet Title scam to defraud a federally insured mortgage lender.
Since Stopa still wasn’t reconciled with his wife, in October 2013, he purchased a second home in the same subdivision only a few streets away at 9937 Sago Point Dr. to live in by himself to be closer to his kids. Stopa eventually lost this home to foreclosure in 2017 and was homeless so he was forced to move into the Sawgrass Point home.
Mark Stopa Plotted to Dump His Wife Adrienne in 2016
Stopa and his wife eventually reconciled and it might have seemed like smooth sailing. However, there is so much Adrienne doesn’t know about the enemy within her own house.
What Adrienne didn’t realize was Stopa was plotting to divorce and dump her in 2016. Former associates say he was back to his philandering ways. He also repeatedly bragged about having sexual liaisons with young Plaintiff attorneys. Some of these attorneys were opposing counsel in several of his foreclosure cases. Yes, the lawyers that Stopa was bragging about having sex with were also trying to kick his clients out of their homes. (Holy conflict of interest, Batman!)
Stopa confided how his marriage was dead and his wife was faking it for the kids. That really angered Stopa. He decided he didn’t need Adrienne anymore. He then conspired to remove her from the Stopa-Federico Crime Family. Stopa wanted to keep all the ill-gotten assets for himself.
Stopa secretly entered into an agreement to purchase a $2 Million luxury mansion in Madeira Beach without Adrienne’s knowledge. He insisted the purchase arrangement be kept confidential and off the record until after he divorced his wife. Stopa didn’t want her having a claim to it as a marital asset.
But everything changed when she discovered the plot. To calm her down and prevent yet another divorce filing, Stopa fabricated a story about the home being a joint venture investment where he just made a loan. He then filed a frivolous lawsuit against the owner, falsely claiming fraud and civil theft when the truth was Stopa simply defaulted on a purchase agreement and lost his deposit.
Mark Stopa LIES to Judges About Dossier 2.0 Scam
Mark Stopa has been lying to Judges his entire career. But his latest Dossier 2.0 foreclosure surplus scam he is running out of Segal & Schuh Law Firm is hands down the greatest lying deception of his career.
Over the last several months alone, Stopa together with his crime family has stolen over $2 Million dollars running the largest RICO foreclosure fraud scam in the history of the State of Florida. Stopa repeatedly LIES to county court judges submitting fraud-on-the-court fabricated fake “debt” complaints seeking to trick judges into signing foreclosure judgments to validate the fraud.
The negative equity homes are already owned by Mark Stopa and in foreclosure with a senior mortgage lender. Under penalty of perjury, Stopa claimed the blogger doxxed his personal home address. The Judge asked Stopa directly if his address or private information appeared anywhere online and Stopa LIED TO THE JUDGE and said NO.
If the Judge just did a simple Google Search of “Mark Stopa”, it would reveal NUMEROUS links to public record sites where his home address and private information is already public record information.
STOPA LIED TO THE JUDGE! He claimed the blogger doxxed his personal home address. Consequently, this LIE induced the Judge to falsely enter an injunction.
The case is currently on appeal. Sources say the JQC is now looking into the matter to reprimand the errant Judge.
