Victims are still feeling the pain from being of Mark Stopa scams. Yes, Mark Stopa is still at it. This time, he has his sights set on amateur real estate investors. Stopa  hasn’t forgotten his former foreclosure clients turned Stopa tenants. He and his lawyers are still screwing over them as well.

FDLE raided Mark Stopa’s former law firm in August 2018. Since then, Stopa has lost his law license for screaming at judges and ripping off his former clients in an equity skimming scam. Stopa’s self-aggrandizing book flopped. 

After the Florida Bar officially revoked his law license 2019, Stop also filed nearly 20 frivolous lawsuits against his critics. He has lost all but one which is still pending. Ironically, in his book, he claims the Tampa Bay Times and the mortgage industry colluded to have him disbarred. Yet, the Tampa Bay Times is the only media outlet Stopa didn’t sue.  

Stopa still has not been indicted or heading to prison. FDLE and the Florida Attorney General say they are actively investigating Stopa and they are building a case against him. However, it’s been four years and no indictment.
