Mark Stopa Attracts Lots Of Attention To His Foreclosure Surplus Scam

The way Mark Stopa drove traffic to MarkStopaVictims.com was quite ingenious. It was also really, really dumb.

You see, Stopa is a raging and delusional narcissist who has removed himself from all reality. With that said, what Stopa did wasn’t really all that unexpected. 

Back in December, Stopa began filing copies of our articles about him in his court cases in both Orange and Pinellas Counties. The majority of these articles detail how Stopa ripped off his former legal clients and the victims in his foreclosure surplus scam.

Yes, Stopa began promoting his own alleged crimes while professing his innocence. He even went so far to claim we were cyberstalking him with his own public record filings. 

But, why? Stopa believed he could convince the court he was being bullied. To this day, Stopa believes he did nothing wrong. He believes his 2019 disbarment and ongoing criminal investigation against him was and is the result of some mass conspiracy.

A conspiracy by people jealous of his past success. You see, Stopa has himself convinced he was the greatest foreclosure defense lawyer that ever lived. Not the 2-bit lawyer who conned millions of dollars out of his clients that he was.

Unfortunately, Stopa’s strategy worked really well for MarkStopaVictims.com but it backfired on Mark Stopa. 

Soon judges in the 6th Circuit Court began reading the articles and passing them around. It wasn’t long before judges in other counties began reading MarkStopaVictims.com. After that, MarkStopaVictims.com articles began going viral.

Law enforcement began reading the site as did officials at the office of HUD-OIG and the the IRS. All of whom took an interest in Stopa’s equity skimming scheme.
