Mark Stopa Criminal Copycat Constantine Kalogianis Was Sentenced to 9 Years in Prison. His Crimes Are Petty In Comparison to Mark Stopa
Mark Stopa copycat Constantine Kalogianis was sentenced to 9 years in one of the worst State prisons in Florida. However, Mark Stopa has yet to heed the warning he will be next.
Stopa is currently under two criminal investigations by State and Federal authorities. Investigators are looking to see if Stopa stole millions of dollars from his own clients. In addition, they are investigating to see if he stole millions more from innocent auction buyers.
Yet, even as Mark Stopa flaunts his scam, he defiantly proclaims his innocence. He likes to claim he is innocent because he has yet to be charged or indicted.
To make matters worse, he continually taunts and mocks investigators.
Mark Stopa Criminal Copycat Gives Us A Glimpse Of Mark Stopa’s Future
Disbarred attorney Constantine Kalogianis was another Mark Stopa wanna-be. He was a fraudster attorney operating out of the 6th Judicial Circuit who modeled his criminal scheme after Mark Stopa.
Kalogianis watched how Mark Stopa lied and manipulated the court system to unjustly enrich himself.
So, he followed the Mark Stopa Get-Rich-Quick scheme and created his own fraud on the court scam.
Kalogianis is currently serving 9 years in Florida State prison in Raiford. The courts found him guilty after he pleaded guilty to eight counts of forgery and one count of fraud.
The trial court sentenced him to nine years imprisonment. The court also ordered Kalogianis to 9 years of probation for the scheme to defraud. In addition, the court ruled the 5-year sentences for each forgery count to run concurrently.
The Washington Post wrote an article about Florida State prison in Raiford several years ago. Despite improvements, the Post wrote that Raiford remained a “very dangerous place.”
“Homosexual rape and drug use are common and arguments are still settled with a homemade shiv or zip gun. Correction officers say newly arrived prisoners who seem weak are often “turned.” They are then made to SERVE as a stronger inmate’s sexual partner.”
Should Prepubescent-Looking Man-Child Mark Stopa Be Worried? Authorities Say, “Don’t Drop The Soap!”
All of this doesn’t bode well for a prepubescent-looking man-child like Mark Stopa.
Former associates joked that Stopa looked like a chubby little teenage boy. He had peach fuzz face and crazy huge gynecomastia like man-boobs.
Stopa has the features of a new inmate that perverted prison kings look for in a new shower pal.
If you’ve ever been in Mark Stopa’s presence, you can confirm he kind of looks like the cross between a little boy and and a dwarf. You probably also noticed he seems to have an oral fixation with himself.
A former intake manager said Stopa was always obsessively inserting things into his mouth to “suck on.” He was partial to hard nuts while continually pontificating about himself and how great he is – ad nauseum.
We’ll see if he still likes hard nuts at Santa Rosa. After all, sucking on hard nuts may very well just save his life in prison.
The Crimes Of The Mark Stopa Copycat
The basis of the Kalogianis crimes were centered around forgery. Kalogianis couldn’t win for his clients without pulling some type of dirty trick fraud on the court like his mentor Mark Stopa.
In his scam, Kalogianis actually altered mortgage foreclosure documents. He would then argue the lender didn’t have standing.
He persuaded judges to dismiss the cases. Consequently, he then collected fees as the prevailing attorney that he otherwise would not have been entitled to.
Kalogianis’ crimes were petty chump change compared to Stopa’s alleged crimes.
According to the Tampa Bay Times article, the state attorney who prosecuted the case agreed on $156,101 in restitution to defrauded lenders and $120,000 to other victims.
Constantine Kalogianis manipulated the court system on several cases and stole less than $300,000.
If Kalogianis got 9 years in prison for defrauding less than $300k, how long will Stopa get?
Let’s “Do the Math” on Mark Stopa’s Crimes
In a failed People v Money Movement launch video on youtube, Mark Stopa does the “math” on what he claims is rampant fraud by the judicial system that disbarred him.
If we look at the Kalogianis crimes as a model and “do the math”, we arrive at a shocking result. It appears Mark Stopa might very well spend the rest of his life in prison.
Sentencing guidelines are based on a number of factors with the dollar amount of damages given the greatest weight in the average.
It is worth pointing out that Kalogianis didn’t fight his charges. He admitted his guilt and accepted a plea agreement. Had he pissed off the prosecutor and wasted the State’s time fighting the case, Kalogianis might have been serving decades in prison.
So let’s do the “Mark Stopa Math” and add up all his frauds.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Investigators discovered Mark Stopa scammed over $5 Million in a rental skimming scheme as detailed in “Dossier 1.0”.
Sources say he ripped off millions more through numerous other fraudulent real estate schemes including defrauding federally insured mortgage lenders and falsely being paid prevailing attorney fees on case dismissals that he continued to prosecute in the name of his former client after they transferred the deed to him and were no longer involved in the case.
Note: Falsely collecting (stealing) prevailing attorney fees is the exact same crime that got Kalogianis 9 years in prison.
In Mark Stopa’s new “Dossier 2.0” foreclosure surplus scam, sources say he manipulated the court system to steal over $2 Million in the last several weeks alone with millions more suspected under dozens of fraudulent court filings throughout the State of Florida.
Only investigators know the exact figures, but former associates say Mark Stopa’s crimes are particularly egregious with estimated fraud in the tens of millions of dollars.
If we use $10 Million for illustration purposes only and divide that by the Kalogianis $300,000 model – we get a 33X crime factor.
Our contention is Mark Stopa’s punishment should be at least 33X greater than what Kalogianis received.
But if we’re conservative and cut that number in half and divide by four – we still get a 4X crime factor.
Using the Kalogianis formula of $300,000 buying 9 years, a 4X crime factor x 9 years = 36 years in prison.
Will Mark Stopa Go to Prison for 36 YEARS?
Our analysis is just an illustration for entertainment purposes only.
But when you “DO THE MARK STOPA MATH”, and weigh the 9 year sentence for stealing less than $300,000 given to Kalogianis against the tens of millions stolen in fraudulent crimes by Stopa – you clearly see Mark Stopa may very well spend the rest of his life in prison.
Keep your eyes on the Tampa Bay Times…
