Is St. Petersburg Catholic High School Taking Dirty Money From Disbarred Lawyer Mark Stopa And His Wife Adrienne Federico? 

St. Petersburg Catholic High School is one of the premier Catholic high schools in Florida. It has one of the most beautiful and sprawling campuses in western Florida. 

For a private school, tuition is fairly reasonable. Tuition averages between $13, 900 to $15,000 a year per student. Tuition also varies depending if you are affiliated with a local Catholic parish. It also depends on if you are paying your 10% tithe. Yes, the local Catholic archdiocese or diocese closely monitors how much you put in the collection plate every Sunday.

So, it’s no wonder disbarred attorney Mark Stopa and his wife Adrienne Federico would want to send their kids there. Stopa and Federico currently have 2 out of his 3 children enrolled there. Stopa’s oldest attend school there for four years and has since graduated. She is now off at college.

As a result, school will get roughly $180,000 from Stopa and Federico through 2026. That is, assuming each of their kids go to St. Petersburg Catholic High School for 4 years,

Naturally, the school is happy to take roughly $180,000 from any parent. Even from Stopa and Federico. But does the school’s leadership board led by Monsignor Robert Gibbons and school principal Ross Bubolz really know where Stopa gets the money to pay the tuition money? Do they even care?

Does St. Petersburg Catholic High School Know Where Mark Stopa Gets The Money To Pay His Kids’ Tuition?

Stopa’s immoral and sociopathic behavior has been well known in the Tampa-St. Pete area long before the Florida Bar disbarred him in 2019.

Even today, Stopa still continues to commit equity skimming scams and foreclosure scams on his former clients.

Stopa and Federico have been subjects to several criminal investigations by the federal government and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement since they raided his law firm in 2018.

The information in Dossier 1.0 breaks down one of his on going scams against his former clients. Stopa has reportedly raked in over $5 million from this scam.

The information in Dossier 1.0 led the Florida Bar to disbar Stopa in 2019.

Stopa even admitted to operating the equity skimming scam in Chapter 28 of his book, People v. Money. 

Dossier 2.0 details Stopa and Federico’s new foreclosure fraud scam.

This scam involves Stopa filing fake foreclosures from one of his shell companies against another one of his shell companies to artificially drive up the foreclosure sale price. Stopa acquired the majority of these homes illegally from his former clients at a fraction of their value.

On another note, the school was subject to a Department of Justice investigation because of alleged racial attacks in March.
