Well, it has finally happened. A Florida Judge has declared Mark Stopa an abusive litigant.
6th Circuit Court Judge Patricia Muscarella had finally had enough of Stopa’s courtroom conniption fits and Roy Cohn inspired theatrics. Let’s not forget, Stopa’s constant bullying of opposing counsel and the court.
Have Florida Courts Finally Had Enough Of Mark Stopa?
The whole 6th Circuit appears to be fed up with Stopa’s buffoonery and his boorish douchebaggery. Stopa has had a long history of courtroom conniption fits and boorish douchebaggery. However, after his disbarment, he blasted his buffoonery and his boorish douchebaggery into the stratosphere.
Why? Well, he couldn’t use his law license as a way to steal his clients’ home out from under them. So, he went on a lawsuit rampage suing everyone who dared cross him in the past. He also knew that there was nothing the Florida Bar could do to discipline him. So, he cranked it up outlandish behavior and crank it up he did.
A small number judges and court personnel were sympathetic to Stopa’s Illuminati conspiracy theories regarding his disbarment.
Well, now it looks like even they have had enough of Stopa’s bullshit.
Judge Muscarella Throws Down The Gavel On Mark Stopa
On August 14, 2025, Judge Patricial Muscarella had finally had enough of Stopa disrespecting the court and opposing counsel in his nearly 6 year court battle with MFI-Miami blogger Steve Dibert.
What the lawsuit is about is anyone’s guess. Mark Stopa has filed a half dozen amended complaints changing the nature of the lawsuit with amended complaint. He also claimed Dibert is anonymously creating websites about him. Yet, he has failed to authenticate Dibert is involved with them. So, June 11, 2025, Muscarella ordered Stopa could not use printouts of the alleged websites as evidence.
Ironically, Muscarella cited DiGiovanni v. Deutsche Bank Nat’/ Tr. Co., 226 So. 3d 984,989 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2017). What’s special about this case? It was an appellate decision that Stopa successfully argued from 2017 (before he was disbarred) that states documents from the internet must be authenticated.
Stopa followed Muscarella’s June 11th ruling with a bombardment of bizarre motions filed diatribes about fictious and nonsensical claims of cyberstalking.
On August 14, 2025, Judge Muscarella issued the below order declaring Mark Stopa abusive.
