Neighbors Say They Are Fed Up With Crazy Mark Stopa. Is He A Danger To The Public? Is It Time To Baker Act Mark Stopa?

Long-time residents in the exclusive Bayou Club Estates Golf Community say they are living in fear.  They say crazy Mark Stopa is a danger to their community and they want him gone.

Stopa had been separated from his wife and living alone at 9937 Sago Point Dr. in the same subdivision. However, in 2017, he lost that home to foreclosure for failing to pay the mortgage and was homeless. So he was forced to do a walk of shame with his tail between his legs back to Adrienne and live his life as a hobosexual. 

Stopa now lives at the infamous 7351 Sawgrass Point Drive with his wife Adrienne Federico and their three children where sources say he now sleeps on the couch in his theater room which is an idolatrous shrine to the Buffalo Bills.   

Public records say Stopa’s wife Adrienne Federico currently holds the title to the house. Ownership of the property was previously held by one of their alter ego LLCs.

Stopa originally acquired the house 10 years ago in one of his equity-skimming scams involving Jayne Carusso.

Authorities are currently investigating the LLCs operated by Stopa and Federico as part of the investigation into their massive racketeering real estate scam.

Crazy Mark Stopa Rejects Help From Concerned Neighbors

Life long resident “Mrs. K”  stated that disbarred attorney Mark Stopa is psychotic. She wants him out of the community before he hurts someone especially his children.

Mrs. K asked us not to use her real name due to Stopa erratic behavior. She also doesn’t want to find herself being on the receiving end of one of Mark Stopa’s frivolous and incoherent lawsuits.

Mrs. K said she routinely walks her Maltipoo past the hellish Stopa-Federico household. She claims that demonic foul language shrieking from the house can be heard echoing throughout the neighborhood. She also says it never stops. It goes on for all hours of the day.

In addition, Mrs. K stated she has witnessed Stopa on several occasions wearing nothing but his underwear pacing back and forth in the driveway with his hand in his underwear doing God only knows what. He was also screaming over and over to himself: 

“I WANNA ANOTHER DEPO!   I WANNA ANOTHER DEPO!“

Stopa’s behavior worried the retired psychiatric nurse. So, she stopped to ask Stopa if everything was okay. She said a drooling exorcist type creature raised its head and starting spewing all sorts of profanities.

The horrified Mrs K said Stopa screamed at her in a guttural voice like the demon from the Exorcist:

“YOU DON’T INTIMIDATE ME CUNT!  GO FUCK YOURSELF!”

Is It Time To Baker Act Crazy Mark Stopa?

This isn’t the first time the Mark Stopa Crazy Train has gone off the rails. Now, authorities are reportedly looking into a possibly invoking the Baker Act on Stopa to protect the public.

Crazy Mark Stopa has a history of bizarre and crazy behavior. The Florida Bar documented numerous instances of Stopa’s wild mood swings and mentally ill behavior during his disbarment proceedings.

Florida judges were reportedly on the receiving end of Stopa’s profanity filled tirades. He would routinely curse out Judges when he didn’t get his way. One report detailed how cry-baby Stopa was jumping up and down on a court room table screaming profanities at the Judge. 

Stopa also falsely accused a judge of assaulting him.

In September, Stopa was nearly arrested by a Sheriff deputies for banging on a locked court room door screaming for the judge to let him inside. The tantrum caught the attention of the Pinellas County Sherff’s deputies who were guarding the courthouse.

Deputies informed Stopa the court room was empty. A confused Stopa didn’t realize Judge was miles away and that the hearing was being done telephonically. Stopa lashed out at the deputies spouting out a plethora of obscenities.

Stopa’s unhinged behavior reportedly scared court employees. They asked the Sheriff to file this police report on Mark Stopa in the event he came back to the courthouse to cause them harm.

Was The Florida Bar Negligent With The Way They Disbarred Stopa?

In their final report, the Florida Bar ultimately determined Mark Stopa was suffering from severe mental illness.

Experts also say the Florida Bar could be held negligent. They say the Florida Bar didn’t go far enough when they disbarred Stopa in 2019.

The Florida Bar knew full well that Mark Stopa was mentally ill and a danger to the public.

The Florida Bar should have made it harder for Stopa to file future lawsuits. Instead, the they simply cut him loose to terrorize the public.

As a pro-se plaintiff in one of his many frivolous filings he terrorized opposing counsel. According to court records, Stopa began spewing all sorts of profanities forcing her to file a warning notice with the court.

One paranormal psychologist believes Stopa might even be suffering from demonic possession. He suggests contacting Monsignor Robert Gibbons at Saint Petersburg Catholic High School to perform an exorcism.
